Why attend?

SDW 2011 is in its fifth year and has cemented its position as the leading annual conference and exhibition in the security document, advanced border control, identity and document anti-counterfeiting industry.

Back in 2007, approximately 500 visitors attended our show. This successful start prompted more than 850 attendees at our event in 2008. For 2009 we achieved just over 1,000 visitors, and for 2010 more than 1200 visitors attended, placing it as one of the top shows in this fast-moving business.

Designed by the editors of the critically acclaimed Security Document World news and information portal, our conference programme is always packed with an international line-up of quality speakers who will deliver an imaginative programme on issues that are of real consequence.

This includes sessions of a highly topical nature, such as the introduction of extended access control in ePassports, or the latest on the world´s national ID card and eVisa schemes. In addition, for 2011 we continue our special sessions looking at Intelligent Border Control and Cutting-edge document anti-counterfeiting

At the heart of the event is our exhibition. With an expected 75 exhibitors in 2011 and a visitorship from across the globe, it will be the perfect meeting place for all attendees to exchange ideas and source solutions that meet their requirements.

Having a presence within the exhibition should be a key requirement for any company wanting to demonstrate their latest offerings and capabilities to an international and highly targeted audience.

Conference pricing

Whilst maintaining the highest standards, we have introduced a revolutionary booking concept with an all-inclusive conference price starting as low as £299+VAT for those lucky few that book early enough. The price increases as demand for tickets grow, but the average price of tickets still works out at under £600, far lower than comparable three-day events. The earlier you book, the lower the price…

There are also very attractive rates for government attendees, starting at just £250+VAT, including all conference benefits.

All delegate rates include access not only to the conference and exhibition, but also access to all daytime refreshments, and a subsidy towards our glittering Gala Dinner and evening reception.

Delegates are also entitled to a fully interactive CD-ROM, which will contain videos and slides of all presentations.
